About

Hanna Wood

Indie Singer/Songwriter

Hanna Wood is a 25-year-old Bristol-based indie and alternative singer-songwriter creating bold, emotionally driven music rooted in indie rock, alternative, and confessional songwriting. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music from the University of Bristol, she brings a strong technical foundation to her work while prioritising honesty, storytelling, and emotional connection. Hanna writes, performs, and articulates all of her own material, often exploring themes of identity, hope, resilience, and going against the grain.

Hanna has built a consistent and trusted live presence across Bristol, performing all-original sets at a range of community, charity, and large-scale events. Her experience includes a paid original performance at the Rugby World Cup Bristol Fan Zone, multiple appearances and an ongoing creative partnership with the Trinity Centre (St Paul’s), and repeat bookings at the Cotham Parish Church Christian Aid fundraiser. She has also delivered a 30-minute all-original set four years consecutively at the St Paul’s Church Music Marathon in support of the One Equal Music charity.

Alongside live performance, Hanna maintains a strong and steadily growing online presence. She has built an engaged following of nearly 18,350 followers on TikTok, where she regularly livestreams original and cover music, fostering a welcoming, queer-affirming and neurodivergent-friendly space that prioritises connection, accessibility, and community.

She released a mini indie rock EP in late 2025 and has two singles forthcoming—Daggers and Queer Romance, the latter accompanied by a professionally produced music video. Hanna is currently working towards the release of a 10-track album and a 5-track EP later this year. As a disabled, queer, and neurodivergent artist, her work centres authenticity, representation, and emotional vulnerability, positioning her as a distinctive and community-rooted voice within Bristol’s independent music scene.

How You Can Support Me

As an Indie Artist, I am financing the creation of my music myself. Your support allows me to make a meaningful career through my music and share with you what I am most passionate about. There are other ways in which you can support me on my indie music adventures that do not require anything formal. By simply following me on all my social media platforms, interacting with the content, sharing and even simply the act of listening to my music on your streaming platforms all help me, as an indie artist, to fund myself.
